Emergency Dental Care

Bam!

Sometimes accidents happen, whether it's a chipped tooth or maybe it's a toothache that's been getting worse by the hour. Whatever the case, emergency situations need experienced and compassionate attention that you can trust. Please don’t hesitate to pick up the phone and contact us right away! We’ll accommodate patients as soon as we possibly can – often on the very same day as your initial contact – and provide first-aid assistance over the phone as well.

While dental emergencies are never wholly preventable, there are steps you can take to keep your smile safer. Limit your exposure to foods that are overly sugary, sticky, tough, or chewy, and don’t chew on ice. And always, use scissors when opening frustrating packaging instead of your own teeth. Most importantly, be sure to consistently schedule six-month checkups and cleanings!

We consider the following cases to be urgent:
  • Severe toothache
  • Lost and/or damaged filling
  • Lost and/or damaged dental crown or other restoration
  • Hurt cheek tissue, lip, or tongue (a cut or accidental biting)
  • Object stuck in the teeth
  • Chipped or cracked tooth
  • Partially or fully knocked-out tooth
